An end plug is developed to exclude any major pressure losses by sealing the bore; at the same time it operates as a spring or valve retaining plate. Recurring spring movement, valve affect and ATF pressure alterations lead to wear between the end-plug and bore meeting surfaces, leading to crucial pressure losses through the circuit.
