We have been on the shop side — running rebuild bays, managing floor equipment, sourcing parts under time pressure, and trying to market a specialized service to customers who cannot tell the difference between a transmission specialist and a general garage. We know what it takes to maintain an ATRA membership, calibrate a valve body test machine, and explain CVT fluid intervals to a customer who just wants a number.
We have been on the parts side — navigating fragmented wholesale networks, building catalog infrastructure for transmission-specific components, and watching margins erode because neither supplier nor buyer had the right tools. We know that a remanufactured unit for an early Jatco CVT is not the same procurement process as an ATF flush kit, and no general parts platform reflects that.
We have talked to customers who drove past the right shop because they did not know it existed, or who paid for a second repair because they went to the wrong one first. The information they needed was available — just not organized in a way that helped them find it.
