While sports car enthusiasts more and more often have to find a tuning company for a transmission conversion service, it seems like Ford is preparing a surprise for fans of its off-road segment. According to numerous media rumors, the upcoming 2021 Ford Bronco will have a manual option.

Ford plans to approach the auto market with 40 models (16 of them are supposed to be battery-operated) of electrified cars by 2022. For this purpose, Ford came up with the idea to design an advanced automatic transmission system, named as “modular hybrid technology”.

Nowadays, it comes as no surprise that many auto engineering companies try to create their own versions of classic cars, but Zero Labs Automotive managed to draw attention of the auto world by developing the 1-st electric version of the legendary Ford Bronco and equipping it with a manual gearbox.
