AAM Opens New Production Facility In Barcelona
American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM), a major producer of vehicle driveline solutions, has recently announced the launch of a new production facility in Spain.The main task of the new enterprise is to satisfy a growing demand for quality parts from major European automakers. A product portfolio of this facility includes a full range of vibration control and damper solutions.
According to AAM’s senior official, the new
production facility in Spain will be a crucial asset for implementation of the
company’s strategy, which lies in attracting more customers around the globe
and expanding its product line.
European car manufacturers try to use a limited
under-the-hood space more rationally, making the main internal components such
as engines more compact and AAM supports this initiative with its tech
solutions that help to reduce noise and vibrations in the car.
