ATC Drivetrain Strengthens its Presence in China
ATC Drivetrain ("ATC"), a major
producer of auto drivetrain elements, has recently announced the start of a
joint venture (JV) with Luwote (Zhangjiagang) Power Remanufacturing Technology
Co., Ltd. ("Luwote"). The new enterprise will be located in China.
The new project will be specialized in reconditioning
of powertrain parts, ensuring consolidation of ATC positions on the Chinese
market and providing its customers with proper parts. ATC is the majority
partner in the JV with a 72.5% ownership stake and brings over solid industry
expertise as well as advanced production processes and deep engineering
insights to the undertaking. Luwote with 27.5% of shares will play a major role
in establishing business ties with local companies thanks to its superb
understanding of the market peculiarities.
ATC officials claim that this mutually beneficial partnership is a great strategic move in expanding company’s global presence on fast-growing and promising markets. Strengthening company’s positions in China is crucial for gaining leading positions in the remanufacturing industry. According to Crestview Partners, the company which took over ATC in 2018, a talented team of ATC professionals has put in significant efforts in promotion of its technologies around the globe.
