ZF Expands Manufacturing Capacity in Poland
The auto business in Poland has a notable share in country’s industrial life, equal to about 11% of country’s industrial-scale manufacturing. Favourable conditions for conduct of business attract major representatives of the auto industry in Poland and ZF is no exception. ZF is a worldwide leader in manufacturing of transmission and chassis solutions as well as in passive safety products.
ZF plans to put up a new plant in Czestochowa and facilitate manufacturing of safety product lines including cutting-edge camera generations for active safety and passenger safety electronics such as airbag management units. It is worth noting that ZF already has a significant workforce in Czestochowa including original Poland electronics tech hub with more than 6,000 specialists in this region and about 8,000 in Poland overall. The new plant with approximately 300 employees will start mass production by the end of 2019 and will advance further growth in the developing electronics business. Moreover, ZF has recently opened a new technical center in Lodz.
