The 4-speed automatic transmission Renault DP2 (PSA name is AT8) was presented in 2009 as a successor of the problematic DP0. Despite modernization, the DP2 has all typical drawbacks of its predecessor. Engineers replaced a problematic torque converter (provided by Renault) with the ZF solution, increased the heat-exchanger size, one more time replaced the valve body and introduced new software fot the control module.
