The 6-speed dual-clutch transmission DQ400E was
produced by VW. This transmission, developed for usage in hybrid vehicles with
cross-mounted engine, has 3 wet clutches – 2 drive clutches and an
engine-disengaging clutch positioned between the petrol engine and the E-motor.
The driving clutches are capable of transmitting the torque equal to 400 Nm,
while the engine-disengaging clutch is designed for 350 Nm.
