The RWD two-motor hybrid gearbox HR10 was
designed by AisinWarner. This gearbox was mainly used in Lexus GS450h and Toyota
Crown Hybrid. The HR-10 gearbox ensures enhanced car performance and fuel
economy required for high-priced cars. Space-saving structure of this gearbox
allows it to be integrated in RWD platform with a compact motor. The mounting
arrangement where a 2-stage motor speed reduction unit, which is enabled to
select 2 reduction gear ratios, the high gear for high-speed range and the low
gear for low-speed range, is combined with an output shaft of an E-motor.
