Built to maximize performance: the Raybestos Powertrain Chrysler 48RE performance transmission rebuild kit utilizes friction and steel Torqkits with additional clutch capacity in the Front Direct, Rear Forward, and Overdrive Brake compared to the OE 48RE clutch pack designs. GPZ friction material is featured in our redesigned Torqkit clutch packs to deliver the competitive power and performance your hardworking 48RE transmission needs on the street, on the track, and off-road. We have included the equivalent of 3 additional frictions with our single sided Front Direct Torqkit, one additional Rear Forward friction, and 1 additional Overdrive Brake friction. Also featured in this 48RE performance rebuild kit is our extra wide rigid intermediate band that is 12% wider than OE and features our Pro-Series friction material. An overdrive direct friction and steel clutch pack, performance overhaul kit, filter, bushing kit, and thrust washer kit are also included.
