Auto Care Data Innovation Center To Showcase New Data Solutions At AAPEX

For over a century, the Auto Care Association (ACA) has been a reliable collaborator in the auto aftermarket, providing tech solutions to tackle pressing issues of the auto industry and to help companies in promotion of their businesses. At the upcoming AAPEX Expo, ACA plans to strengthen ties with its aftermarket counterparts by giving show visitors a great chance to examine its advanced solutions at the first ever Auto Care Data Innovation Center.

Representatives of ACA will demonstrate its latest tech solutions, including UniLink, Demand Index and the Industry Standards. Interested visitors will be provided with demo videos of each solution to see how these products can be used for achievement of their business goals.

UniLink is the industry’s global car identifier. The new solution, recently started in cooperation with IHS Markit, helps to collect the data on different car models all over the world, allowing users to analyze and compare different parameters of cars without wasting much time on online search. Thanks to this technology, owners of car repair businesses can examine relevant data on vehicles all over the world and to decide if current or future spare parts can be sold in new markets.

Demand Index allows auto-oriented businesses to view product category performance trends on the basis of relevant data, thereby making it possible for users to see how their product categories are performing compared to the market. Auto Care Standards can be accessed via the Auto Care Vehicle Information Portal (VIP). These standards have already found application in the industry and give businesses a chance to rapidly exchange and edit catalog and product info for a wide range of solutions.
