MAHLE Builds a Service Solutions Center in Italy

MAHLE reacts to increased market demand for MAHLE solutions in the field of repair shop equipment by officially starting the building of a new Service Solutions center in Italy (Parma). This project will include 3 facilities of MAHLE Service Solutions brought together under one roof, covering the area of approximately 16,100 sq.ft.


When completed, this huge infrastructure will focus on design and manufacturing of repair machines (tools) for the servicing of air conditioning units and gearboxes as well as diagnostics equipment and tools for the adjustment of DAS systems.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was held in the early spring of 2019 in attendance of representatives from politics and auto industry. The new facility will include departments for R&D, manufacturing, and logistics, as well as training and repair shop space for implementation of testing procedures. The R&D initiatives in Parma will provide the basis for new ideas and development of a wide range of repair equipment. It is expected that MAHLE will move to a new place in the 1-st quarter of the next year.
