Major Truck Recall because of Transmission Issue in USA
According to the documents from responsible authorities (NHTSA), Paccar, Volvo, Mack trucks will be recalled because of gearbox issues. The list of recalled vehicles includes more than 26,000 trucks.
The recalls from Paccar, Volvo and Mack are
caused by problems with AMT gearboxes installed on these trucks. The problem is
that an inside element in the clutch assembly may get out of order, and lead to
unintended truck motion. The exact number of trucks to be recalled was
specified with the help of component identification number.
