New Indian Military Vehicle Comes with Allison Transmission Unit
Allison Transmission, the world-renowned provider of automatic transmission solutions, supplied the Allison X1100-5A3 unit for the military project in India. As a part of this project, the Indian company L&T has recently supplied the first batch of 51 K9 Vajra-T tracked self-propelled gun systems equipped with Allison Automatics to the Indian military forces before the agreed schedule. It is expected that the remaining part of the machines will be delivered by the end of this year.

military vehicles can fire 47kg shells at 43-kilometre distant targets. It can

capacities of the Allison X1100 unit is perfect for military applications that
must operate properly in roughest environments.
