This sophisticated unit system independently undertakes the clutch control in particular situations and automatically performs all clutch operations. This peculiar clutch technology can be applied in cars equipped with manual gearboxes. Thanks to this solution there is way for manual gearboxes to become hybrid and thus enter into a new market. So far, this it has been practically implemented only in case with automatics.

The company is also expected to become a serious competitor in the niche of two-wheeler clutches in India. Schaeffler is already a major player in this field on the domestic market g with more 20 million units sold, and German manufacturer of auto components is not going to slip into complacency.
