The German company Schaeffler recently expanded the LuK RepSet 2CT repair kit line for dual-clutch transmissions with kits for Fiat, Renault and Smart cars, and for some VW models. Schaeffler, being an innovator in the field of clutch units, produces advanced repair kits and tools to replace dual dry clutches. Dual clutch mechanisms gain popularity among major carmakers and find application in modern cars.

The abovementioned repair kit is a viable option for keeping dual clutch gearboxes in perfect running order. This kit also contains numerous useful accessories, such as guide bushings, retaining rings, mounting screws, and clutch engagement mechanisms – connecting levers and bearings. Schaeffler’s Aftermarket department now also produces these kits for some Smart and Renault cars equipped with the 6DCT250 transmission, for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Jeep cars equipped with the FPTC635 DDCT transmission, as well as for Suzuki cars with the TCSS transmission.
