Nissan Develops Self-Parking Slippers
Nissan never fails to amaze the public with its innovative ideas which go beyond the auto industry. This time specialists of the Japanese auto manufacturer try to apply their know-how developments in the hotel industry by introduction of self-parking slippers.
Nissan takes hospitality to a new level by using a special ProPilot Park technology which allows slippers to move independently and “park” alongside other footwear. An unusual mechanism of autopilot slippers is activated by pushing a button which signals to slippers where to park. The same technical solution is used in autopilot electric cars designed by Nissan. The design of slippers includes integrated wheels, a motor and sensors which help to avoid any collisions. Nissan engineers also plan to apply this technology in certain pieces of furniture.
Let's see what Nissan engineers will come up with next!
