To be more precise, the acquisition of a Klingelnberg spiral bevel grinder, costing approximately £1.5m, allowed delivering of market-ready products – backing the company’s intention to meet even the most challenging requirements of its customers on transmission solutions.

The Klingelnberg machinery is currently set up
and put into production at Ricardo’s Tech Center based in the UK, and it has
already started manufacturing highly-precise and top-quality parts intended for
the racing transmissions currently produced by Ricardo. In addition, this
machine will be actively used during the development of the new product lines,
which will hit the market in the coming years. Moreover, the company has also
obtained new design and QA capabilities by means of more efficient software
solutions, such as the KIMOS software pack.
